Storytelling & Connection
Since 2017, I've crafted digital experiences that blend design, storytelling, and strategy to build brands that truly resonate. Specializing in website design, social media storytelling, and impactful content, I focus on turning ideas into memorable narratives. I strive to help individuals and businesses uncover their unique voice, connect with their audience, and leave a lasting impression.

Hi, I'm Kaylee!
(she/her)
Ironically, writing an "about" section for yourself — as a writer — is incredibly difficult. Here's a little about me... I'm a seasoned Marketing and Communications professional with a Bachelor's degree in Professional Communications and more than seven years of experience. My expertise lies in digital communications, including website building, brand storytelling, copywriting and graphic design. I love creating content that's trendy, strategic and thoughtful.
I'm passionate about telling your story in ways that feel relatable. One of my favourite things about being a marketer is connecting with a client who wants to explore trends, pop culture and humour in their digital content. I strive to strike the balance in creating content that's informative, while remaining playful and engaging for online audiences.
I'm enthusiastically Edmontonian (for better or for worse). I’ve worked with a variety of clients, including local entrepreneurs, established businesses, non-profit organizations and grassroots initiatives. Born and raised in Edmonton, I'm passionate about making a positive impact in my city through my work with local groups. I'm also passionate about contributing to the growth and development of a more accessible and inclusive city.
Community fills my cup. I’m a vocal advocate for women, the 2SLGBTQIA+ community and fat and disabled bodies. I take immense value from supporting and volunteering for local initiatives that focus on the advancement of people experiencing homelessness, Queer people, Indigenous Peoples, and People of Colour (and any such intersections).
In my free time, I enjoy discovering new local businesses, watching drag performances and attending stand-up comedy shows. I'm a dog-lover, I enjoy charcoal sketching and my favourite place in the world (so far) is Lake Louise, Alberta.
I look forward to connecting with you!

Culturally Appropriate Use of Indigenous Language Workshop
pipikwan pêhtâkwan
I explored fundamental techniques and concepts of how HTML and CSS work together to create more dynamic online experiences. This allowed me to develop an entry-level understanding of building a website, incorporating images and utilizing a CSS-defined layout to enhance the design and functionality.
I gained a strong understanding of best practices and appropriate terminology when communicating with, for or about Indigenous Peoples. This included learning how to identify and avoid biased language and tone, both in written and spoken contexts.
